Focus on the Slapton Kestrel

1st March 2015

I had of course gone to Slapton in Bucks in the hope of photographing the Great Grey Shrike that had been there for several weeks.Unfortunately, it did not show all that day, although it was a bit windy, and not sure whether it has been seen since.

During one of my various excursions trying find the bird I came across a superb Kestrel that was hovering above me. For once, the light conditions were right with the sun right behind me. Moments like this are rare and therefore I fired off a number of shots with different settings hoping to get one or two good ones. What do you think?
