Another Visit to Bramfield

A nice sunny day and an hour to spare so off to Bramfield. Very quiet for a while until I heard a Hawfinch calling deep in a Yew, and quite some time after it condescended to peer out. Very much a "you ain't seen me........right?" moment.

And about an hour later a couple of birds appeared at the top of the bare trees behind the church against a blue sky background.

But the star of the show today was a Red Kite that was sitting at the top of a conifer in The Old Rectory opposite the churchyard gates.

That will do nicely!!!!
