After a most successful visit to Lakenheath Fen, just time to call in to Lackford Lakes on the way home. By now the sun was getting low in the sky so many of our usual haunts were already in shadow, but the tall Alders by the visitor centre were still in full sun so time to try for some Siskins.
Always a bit tricky as they are often quite high up and masked by branches and twigs, but with a little patience managed to get the following shots before the sun got too low.
