Hawfinches at Bramfield are easy to photograph when they perch at the tops of the Ash trees, albeit a bit distant. However, when they drop into the Yew tress to feed on the berries they are a lot more difficult as they tend to keep deep inside the trees and even when they venture to the edge are often in the shade.
Today I concentrated on trying to find that window or tunnel in the tree so that I could grab a few shots and here are the results.
Well, that's a start!!!
