After a most successful day with the waders on the salt lagoon at Two Tree Island time to head home. As we were driving along the exit track I noticed a ghostly figure flying towards us on the othe side of the hedge - a Barn Owl. I was able to pull in and leapt out of the car grabbing the camera and started clicking away as it hunted over a wonderful piece of rough ground next to the model aircraft runway.
It performed for about 10 minutes before flying off to another area. Here is what I managed to get.
If only Barn Owls were always this easy!!!!
