A Sabine's Gull at Port Lympne Safari Park

3th November 2022

A juvenile Sabine's Gull has been present in the field next to the Port Lympne Safari Park since the 3rd November so it was the first on our itinerary for our foray into Kent. It was a bit distant at first with a flock of other gulls, and to make matters worse was sitting down in the grass and was fairly obscured. However, after a few minutes it took to the air and flew to another enclosure next to us so we were able to get a good set of close-ups.

It turns out we were quite lucky as the next day it had gone.
